(K)NOX: THE ROB KNOX STORY - THE DIRECTOR’S CUT PREMIERE’S AT PICTUREHOUSE CENTRAL
A director's cut documentary about the life and death of Harry Potter actor Rob Knox - titled (K)nox: The Rob Knox Story - The Director’s Cut is set to premiere in London
The documentary premiered in 2021 at the London Independent Film Festival before airing on TV in Germany in 2022 and in then again in the UK in 2023. Rob Knox played Marcus Belby in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince but was tragically murdered in a stabbing in 2008, shortly after filming wrapped. He was just 18 years old.
Since his passing, Rob's family set up the Rob Knox Foundation which aims to raise awareness about the dangers of street violence among young people. All ticket sales for the premiere will go directly towards the foundation.
According to MuggleNet, director Aaron Truss, actor Ray Winstone, and Rob’s father, Colin Knox, will be attending and will taje part in a Q&A hosted by the podcast Stark Raving Cinema. On top of that, the event will give guests the first opportunity to try out a new cocktail created to honour Rob, called the Rob Knoxtail. The drink was created by the Wands & Wizard Exploratorium bar and will be available during events held by the Rob Knox Foundation.
Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased via the Picturehouse website. Adult tickets will cost £13 while concessions will pay £11.
