NEW COCKTAIL IN MEMORY OF ROB KNOX - ‘THE ROB KNOX-TAIL’

(K)nox: The Rob Knox Story is the documentary about the life and death of actor Rob Knox, who played Marcus Belby in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Knox was tragically killed in a stabbing in 2008, shortly after completing filming on the sixth Harry Potter film.

The documentary premiered in 2021 at the London Independent Film Festival before airing on TV in Germany in 2022 and in the UK in 2023.

Now, the never-before-seen director’s cut is getting its premiere in London at Picturehouse Central in the West End. The screening will take place this Saturday, September 28, 2024, at 7:00 p.m., with all ticket sales going directly to the Rob Knox Foundation – an organization that aims to raise awareness among young people about the dangers of street violence. Picturehouse will also be the new home of the Rob Knox London Film Festival, which will return in July 2025 for its 16th year.

Director Aaron Truss, actor Ray Winstone, and Rob’s father, Colin Knox, will be attending and taking part in a Q&A hosted by the podcast Stark Raving Cinema.

The event will also give guests the first opportunity to try out a new cocktail created to honor Rob, called the Rob Knoxtail. The drink was created by the Wands & Wizard Exploratorium bar and will be available exclusively during events held by the Rob Knox Foundation.
